Maj Gen Peter W. Odgers, USAF (Ret)

Maj Gen Peter W. Odgers, USAF, Ret. earned his BS and commission at the U.S. Naval Academy in 1955 and his MS degree through an AFIT sponsored program as Southern Methodist University. His assignments in Research and Development emphasized Test and Evaluation as well as Acquisition and included assignments as Commander, Air Force Flight Test Center, Edwards AFB; Deputy for Test & Evaluation, Headquarters AFSC; and as Vice Commander, ASD. He directed the B-1B Strategic Bomber program and served as Deputy Director in both F-15 and A-10 System Program Offices. Following retirement in 1987, General Odgers joined the Northrop Corp. as the Corporate Director of the Northrop Dayton Office. He is presently an independent consultant. He joined the Board of Trustees of the AFIT Foundation in 2001.
