Mr. Roger A. Panton

Mr. Roger A. Panton earned his BS and MS degrees in Mechanical Engineering at Wichita State University and an MS in Engineering Management at the University of Dayton. After service as a Lieutenant, USAF, he joined the federal civil service and rose through positions of increasing responsibility in the Aeronautical Systems Center. At retirement in 1998, he was Chief of the Flight Systems Engineering Division. He is presently with Avetec, serving as Director of the Data Intensive Computing Environment (DICE) Program for High Performance Computing. He has served on the Boards of the Affiliate Societies Council, the Engineering and Science Foundation, and the Dayton and the Engineering and Science Hall of Fame, all of Dayton and joined the Board of Trustees of the AFIT Foundation in 2005.
