In this article, The AFIT Foundation is recognizing Colonel and Defense Logistics Attache Kwang-ho JANG, Executive Director of External Relations at the Korea Defense Industry Corporation.

Colonel Jang received his MS in Space Operations from the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology in 1996. He chose the path of an officer to devote himself to the country and protect his country from crimes. Colonel Jang retired as a colonel of the Korean Army and now works as an executive at a defense industry company.

AFIT challenged Colonel Jang to face each challenge without fear and strive to achieve new opportunities and results. He remembers studying all night long because he wanted to solve difficult tasks with his American classmates.

When asked about what he would say to those entering the military, Colonel Jang writes, “The best way to devote yourself to your country is to walk the path of a soldier.” Thank you, Colonel Jang!
